I have read yours and your Mom's book and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it-I was not ready for it to end. Maybe it has a lot to do with what we do as re-enactors of the period and Veteran's Day coming up but I really did get a feel for what your Mom's days were like in the ETO and the Army. It was a different read from the beginning-getting into the reading style of her diary-but once that became comfortable to me I had a hard time putting the book down during the evening. I wanted to know more about this time of war. The book has provided so much insight for me. . .
